I am a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a specialized focus on spine care. Throughout my career, I have successfully treated more than 2000 cases involving chronic back pain, sciatica, radiculopathy, and neck pain. My extensive experience and commitment to patient care have made me a trusted name in physiotherapy.
I began my educational journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT), a comprehensive 4.5-year program from Orissa. Following this, I pursued a Master’s in Orthopaedics in Delhi, completing an additional two years of advanced study. This robust educational foundation has equipped me with a deep understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and the skills necessary to provide exceptional care.
I am proud to be a certified credentialed McKenzie therapist, a distinction that underscores my expertise in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT). As the only McKenzie-certified therapist in Eastern India, I bring a unique and highly specialized skill set to my practice. The McKenzie Method is renowned for its evidence-based approach to assessing and treating spine and extremity disorders, ensuring that my patients receive the highest standard of care.
My professional journey includes significant roles at prestigious healthcare institutions:
I am an active member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists, which allows me to stay connected with the latest advancements in physiotherapy and adhere to the highest professional standards.
My approach to physiotherapy is patient-centered. I focus on individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient. I believe in empowering my patients with knowledge and techniques to manage their conditions effectively, promoting long-term health and wellness.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for cooking and love exploring new cuisines. Traveling is another one of my hobbies, and I enjoy discovering new places and cultures. In my downtime, I like watching good series and movies. My favorite genres are psychological thrillers, science fiction, and horror comedy.
I am also a creative person with a keen interest in interior design. I used to paint, but due to my commitment to the medical field and a shortage of time, it has been years since I have pursued it. To unwind and reduce stress after work, I prefer to spend time with my family, watch a good movie or series together, and read books (though I'm not a regular reader).
